HYDERABAD: A tight security blanket would be thrown in the city on Friday in view of a massive rally proposed by the Bajrang Dal as part of Hanuman Jayanthi. With the festival falling on Friday and days after communal clashes in Sangareddy town, the city police are leaving no stone unturned to make the event a peaceful one. VHP senior leader Praveen Togadia would attend the railly.Bajrang Dal city convenor N Vinod said the rally would start from Ram Mandir at Gowliguda at around 10 a.m. Passing through important junctions like Putlibowli, Kacheguda, Narayanguda, Kavadiguda and others, the rally would reach Hanuman temple at Tadbund. Praveen Togadia would offer prayers at the temple and address the gathering.The organisers are expecting a huge turnout of more than one lakh at the procession. Anticipating trouble in the procession route, elaborate security arrangements have been made and additional forces were deployed at problematic locations.Meanwhile, the police said traffic would be restricted along the procession route.
