Local18 reports on a man from West Bengal, who has a unique talent of playing mouth organ with his nose. The man in question is Choyon Chakraborty, a resident of Mahishadal, located in the district of East Midnapore. He is known for skillfully playing the mouth organ with his nose as well as his mouth. According to the information by Local18, Choyon has a lot of records and accolades to his name, thanks to his talent. Among the locals, he is known as a skillful mouth organ artiste, who can effortlessly play with his nose and mouth for hours.
As per the reports, he is able to play a good variety of songs with his nose. His name is listed in the Limca Book of Records for playing the mouth organ for 12 hours non stop. Apart from that, he has received honours from many organisations. He has appeared in a number of famous reality shows, premiering on private TV channels in West Bengal.
Talking to Local18, Choyon Chakraborty revealed that he started learning to play the mouth organ between the ages of 12 and 13. It was his father, also a musician, who taught him to play the instrument. He then started learning the instrument from renowned musician Shyamal Sen. Then one day, he thought of playing the instrument with his nose and he started his practice. At first, his attempts did not go well but as he continued practising, he became better and it came to him easier.
Choyon Chakraborty is a professional mouth organ artiste and teaches this art as well. Local18 reports that she has students across India, as well as countries like Dubai, South Korea, Bangladesh and more. He teaches in online as well as offline mode.
