In a shocking revelation and a major embarrassment to Pakistan's claims of fighting terror, CNN-IBN has accessed phone call details of an alleged jihadi in Assam boasting of a 100-strong team. The call exposes the link between Assam militancy and Pakistan-sponsored terror.

The call intercepts reveal how militants in Assam are joining ranks with Pakistan-sponsored terror groups. According to the conversations, the alleged jihadi also claims he can orchestrate attacks anywhere in Maharashtra, especially Mumbai.

Further, he claimed that he had trained with ULFA militants in Bhutan. The calls also reveals the presence of an extensive terror network in Maharashtra.

The Assam police had recently busted a terror camp and arrested six militants. They are investigating if these militants are linked to banned terror outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen in Bangladesh.
