New Delhi: Actors John Abraham, Sameera Reddy, Sonali Kulkarni and director Milan Luthria made an appearance at the premiere of their film Taxi No. 9211 on Tuesday night.
The event was rather unusual affair as the makers chose to premiere the film at Hyderabad instead of Mumbai or Delhi.
John had some great movie moments to share, including the fact that most of the film has been realistically shot in Mumbai, including some actual crowd shots.
After tying up with Western Union and Star TV in the UK for a 'Meet John Abraham' contest, UTV is going to the next step to promote Taxi No. 9211, which is to hit the theatres on Friday.
A special showing of the film has been organised for taxi drivers in Mumbai on Thursday at a South-Mumbai cinema.
Nearly 10,000 bumper stickers of Taxi No. 9211, with John and Nana sitting on the bonnet of a taxi, have also been rumouredly distributed to cabbies in Mumbai.
With Adnan Sami's Meter Down song becoming a rage and the strong marketing campaign enveloping the film, Ramesh Sippy's Taxi No. 9211, is looking like the next promising upper-mid film.
