HYDERABAD: Secondary School Certificate (Class X) examinations will commence all over the state on Monday. They will commence at 9.30 am and end at 12 noon. The examinations will conclude on April 11. As many as 12.87 lakh candidates will answer the First Language question paper at 5,849 centres on the first day of the examinations.Candidates have to carry their hallticket, pens, pencils and erasers. Speaking to Express on Sunday, director of government examinations Banala Manmadha Reddy called upon the candidates, who are going to write their first examination on Monday, to reach the examination centre 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time to avoid lastminute tension.They will be allowed inside after 9 am. He said that they made all preparations to conduct the examination across the state in a peaceful environment. Adequate infrastructure was provided at all the centres. About 300 flying squads will be deployed in addition to sitting squads at centres considered problematic.Manmadha Reddy said they had taken enough care to prevent any leak of questions.“Only those assigned the responsibility should remove the seal of question paper bundles. Strict action will be initiated if others try to open it,” he warned.
