Sreerags suicide case: Jennifer gets bail

BANGALORE: Gayatri alias Jennifer, 23, who was arrested in connection with the suicide of software engineer S Sreerag was granted bail by the 10th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court on Wednesday. Gayatri, who is lodged at the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison ever since her arrest, will be released soon after the bail orders reach the prison officials. Meanwhile, the police said that Gayatri had asked Tina, one of her friends, to speak to Sreerag two days before his death. “She had asked Tina to speak as her mother and advise Sreerag to stay far from her as she was engaged to another man. However, Tina has no role in the suicide as she tried to help her friend,” the police said.
