Mrunal Thakur shared photos of her delectable meal consisting of a loaded French toast and a hearty croissant.

Actors often have to stick to a strict diet and a fitness routine to maintain a fit physique. For those in camera-facing roles, dieting and working out is not just a lifestyle choice but also an occupational requirement to look their best. However, every now and then actors let loose and indulge in delectable high-calorie meals. In the recent past, Mrunal Thakur shared photos from her outing that included a scrumptious meal of a loaded French toast with cream and a hearty croissant. What else was in her meal? A glass of Iced Latte. Other than enjoying a hearty meal, Mrunal Thakur also visited the Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount in Bandra.

For her day out, the Sita Ramam star wore a white crop top and paired it with loose grey trousers. Her white sneakers tied the whole outfit together. She kept her hair open and went make-up-free. Her look was in line with her signature effortless chic style. The pan-India star captioned her post, “Sunday calories don’t count, RIGHT?” This Sunday post got over 13 lakh likes within three days. Popular chef Kelvin Cheung commented on her post and remarked, “Calories don’t count if they are worth it.”

In numerous media interactions, Thakur has spoken about the importance of eating a balanced diet instead of opting for unhealthy dieting. In a conversation with IANS, she said, “Spending quality time at home and having home-cooked meals is what I prefer the most. Of course, being an actor means home-cooked meals are not always possible, but when I’m out, I eat a balanced meal, I don’t skip anything.”

She added, “I have a brilliant trainer, who pushes me to do my best workout and always allows me to reward myself with food that I truly do enjoy eating. My diet usually is what we call a ‘grandma diet’, it’s essentially eating what your family has always eaten, with a balance of understanding of portions and nutrition.”

Mrunal Thakur recently spoke to Humans of Bombay and shared that she used to feel insecure about her pear-shaped body, but now that has changed. The Maharashrian beauty said, “I’m going to change that beauty standard by flaunting my curves. Earlier I was so afraid of wearing anything body-hugging. But now, I’m like, ‘Body-hugging? Bring it on. And crop tops? Bring it on. Why do we need Kardashians to set the beauty standards? Every Indian woman walking on the streets, they’re so curvaceous, they’re so beautiful.”
