Salman Khan Firing Case: Look Out Circular Issued Against Anmol Bishnoi, IP Address Of His FB Post Traced to Portugal
Police sources said Anmol Bishnoi was last seen in Portugal and the IP address of his Facebook post where he claimed responsibility for the firing incident was traced to Kenya.

A Lookout Circular (LoC) was issued on Friday against Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in connection with the firing outside actor Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai’s Bandra on April 14, police said.

Police sources said he was last seen in Portugal and the IP address of his Facebook post where he claimed responsibility for the firing incident was traced to Kenya.

The official also said police are likely to take custody of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in a jail in Sabarmati in Gujarat and was also contemplating invoking the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in the case.

This comes a day after the Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch wrote a letter to the Home Ministry asking for a look-out circular (LOC) to be issued against Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

Anmol Bishnoi came under the radar of Mumbai Police after he posted a message on Facebook claiming responsibility for the firing at Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai.

Mumbai Police on Thursday arrested two men who allegedly provided guns to the shooters who opened fire at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house on April 14.

The Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Sonu Subhash Chander (37) and Anuj Thapan (32) from Punjab. The duo were allegedly in contact with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had supplied pistols to the accused.

On Monday, police recovered a gun and some live cartridges, used in the firing outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence, from the Tapi River in Gujarat’s Surat city. The search for another gun was underway, officials had said.

During interrogation, the two arrested men – identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) – told the police that they threw the weapon into the Tapi River from a railway bridge, when they were fleeing to Bhuj in a train.

According to reports, the gun used for firing at Salman Khan’s Mumbai house was supplied to shooters just a few hours before the incident took place on Sunday morning.
