New Delhi: Russian women's team beat Fiji 9-0 on the second day of the Hockey World League Round 2 at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here Tuesday.
Russia scored through Alina Krasnoperova (ninth minute, 39th, 47th); Yana Doronina (20th,57th minute); Ekaterina Shaburova (26th, 28th); Ksenia Svezhentseva (65th) and Margarita Drepenkina (68th).
Krasnoperova was adjudged Player-of-the-Match. Russia will now face Japan Thursday while Fiji play against China.
