'RJD will be a responsible Opposition'

Patna: Conceding the defeat of his party in the polls, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has congratulated Nitish Kumar.

Lalu said that he is relieved to be out of power in Bihar after 15 years and will support the new government wholeheartedly.

He added that his party is committed for the development of Bihar and will play the role of a constructive Opposition.

But he could not hide his disappointment saying that the measures taken by the Election Commission to ensure a free and fair polls prevented the poor voters from coming to the poll booth.

Reacting to Lalu's opinion BJP's Sushma Swaraj said that the NDA's win indicated that the people wanted a change after 15 years of Lalu's misrule.
