PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), CPML, has urged people not to cast their votes for the AINRC, Congress-DMK and AIADMK candidates in the Indira Nagar by-poll.Talking to mediapersons here on Saturday, CPML secretary, S Balasubramanian, said that the ruling AINRC had been behaving in an autocratic and undemocratic manner after assuming office. The AINRC party was being supported by the opportunistic CPI and PMK in the by-poll, he added.He said the law and order situation in the territory has deteriorated and murders were on the rise. Chief Minister Rangasamy was keeping silence despite several issues. The CPML leader asked the voters to punish the Congress for their misrule during their last tenure.He demanded the resignation of Puducherry education minister Kalyanasundaram following allegations of impersonation in writing his SSLC exam.He condemned the administration for reinstating former district collector G Ragesh Chandra, against whom the CBI had registered a case for the alleged malpractice in the Tsunami housing project.
