Mumbai: The Chairman and Management of Jet Airways are pleased to convey that an amicable agreement has been arrived at, enabling the commencement of all domestic and international operations immediately. Effective Sunday, September 13, the airline will operate its full schedule of services on all sectors with all crew reporting for their normal rostered duties.
Chairman Naresh Goyal personally and sincerely conveys his deepest apology to the airline’s most valued customers for the inconveniences they have had to put up with over the past five days, since September 8. Moreover he greatly appreciated their patience when the staff of Jet Airways with tears in their eyes had to perforce transfer them to other airlines. He is most grateful for the many expressions of support and patronage he has received by mail and telephone calls from customers who believe that the renowned team work in Jet Airways will rise to duty in very short time and who believed in the strength of the airline team.
The Chairman has particularly expressed his personal gratitude to all the Government of India authorities, the Civil aviation ministry, the DGCA, the Labour ministry, the Chief Labour Commissioner, the Regional Labour Commissioner Mumbai and our media friends.
The Chairman has also expressed his gratitude to every single member of the Jet Airways family at every level for believing in the Company and for sense of purpose and loyalty they have demonstrated. They have shown to the watching world that Indians are committed to their country’s unstoppable progress and that they are capable of facing up to their differences and resuming the task at hand with full vigor.
Finally the Chairman had a special word of thanks for the support extended to their customers by all Airlines and in particular to the Chairman and the Management of Air India, who stood by in support during Jet Airways’ past few troubled days.
