PALAKKAD: There are genuine concerns as to whether there will be an impartial inquiry in connection with the death of Raghu since the gunman of Congress MP Sudhakaran has been involved, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has said.He was speaking after inaugurating the ‘Prathikarna sadas’ organised by the district unit of the DYFI at Peruvembu here on Sunday.He said that it was the usual practice of the Congress to justify its leaders when they were in power.Similarly, in the Valakom school case, the police had not pursued the statements of Krishnakumar who was attacked brutally, he said.Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should apologise for putting T V Rajesh MLA in bad light in connection with the issue that Rajesh had misbehaved with a woman civil police officer who was patrolling the highway, he said. Pinarayi visited the house of Raghu in Peruvembu on Sunday and consoled the bereaved family members.
