New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, who was admitted to a private hospital on Thursday evening after symptoms of high blood pressure, was discharged on Friday.
Doctors attending on him at the Escorts hospital said Pawar was fine and had been discharged after an extensive medical check up.
Pawar, who was on his way to Chennai, suddenly started showing signs of hypertension and was rushed to the hospital.
In November, the Agriculture Minister underwent angioplasty procedure at the hospital after he complained of chest pain.
