New Delhi: Actor-filmmaker Parvin Dabbas is content with the response to his directorial debut Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, and is glad that his "small film with a big message" has appealed to the masses.
A tale of a group of four notorious men finding their conscience and working for a big cause, the film features Vansh Bharadwaj, Ashish Nayyar, Kuldip Ruhil and Parvin.
Parvin, who produced the movie under his banner Very Fishy Films, is happy that the movie has come at a time when corruption and empowerment are hot issues in the country.
"There are a lot of pressing issues because of which some audience members might not have been in the mood to watch films, but the idea behind my movie was not only to make money, but to raise consciousness. Our low budget has ensured that we have more than recovered our investment through satellite, home video, digital and other rights," he added.
