Parl attack widow gets police security
Police has provided security to the widow of Nanak Chand, who was killed in the attack on Parliament in Dec 2003.

Sonepat: The Haryana Police has provided security to the widow of Delhi Police ASI Nanak Chand, who was killed in the terrorist attack on Parliament in December 2003, after two unidentified youths visited her home in Rathdana village in Sonepat.

Four police personnel were deployed at the residence of Ganga Devi after she informed the police about the visit of the two suspicious youths last week, DSP Subhash Chander told UNI on Thursday.

The widow had informed the police that the youths who came to her residence demanded some seeds, which they claimed her husband had asked for.

She said that she told them that her husband was no more and was killed in the terrorist attack on Parliament. The two then left the scene.

The suspicious visit of the youths was linked by the local media with a statement given by the widows of the securitymen killed in the Parliament attack that Mohammad Afzal should be hanged as per court orders despite clamour for granting him pardon in some quarters.
