New Delhi: A Pakistani national, suspected to be a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, has been arrested after a gunbattle in South Delhi, police said.
The suspected terrorist identified as Abdullah Inqulabi was arrested by Delhi Police's anti-terror wing Special Cell on Sunday night from near IIT campus. He has been a divisional commander of Hizbul Mujahideen in Kashmir for the past decade.
Inqulabi, who was arrested after a brief gunbattle during which two-three rounds were fired, has been staying in the capital for the past 10 years, police said. A Pakistan-made pistol was recovered from his possession
Sources said he is suspected to be involved in several Hizbul operations in the country.
