Overseas road shows for investment

BANGALORE: The state government has planned to conduct road shows in Europe and North America to attract overseas investment in Karnataka in agriculture and allied sectors.According to official sources, all arrangements to host the first-ever such event are in full swing and road-shows will be held in European countries, the United States and Canada. A similar  road show held recently at Israel elicited an overwhelming response.The government expects to generate an investment of over `50,000 crore in developing cold chains, warehousing, godowns at village and taluk levels and transport infrastructure.
