'Oka Romantic Crime Katha' may be called the biggest sleeper hit of the year, after 'Ee Rojullo'. P Sunil Kumar Reddy is proud about the fact that the film has done commercially well. This happens to be the first film made by his banner to have earned profits to distributors and exhibitors.
"All films produced by us in the past have won Nandi Awards. With 'ORCK', we have achieved Box Office success. The film reflects some present day realities of today's youth. This is the reason why it has been a big success in 24 centers. We are planning to celebrate a function in the presence of film personalities", the director announced.
If Sontha Vooru and Gangaputrulu mirrored the 'sell-out' of the village land (SEZs) and the exploitation of the coast, respectively, 'Oka Romantic Crime Katha' took on the issues like teen love, teen sex and abortions, which have become commonplace in the modern society.
