In Uttar Pradesh, The Yogi Adityanath government has recently sparked a new controversy by ordering food shops to display nameplates on Kanwar Yatra routes. Amid the outrage on social media against the order, actor Sonu Sood has also expressed his view on the issue, which is garnering everyone’s attention.

Sonu Sood wrote on his X handle, “There should be only one nameplate on every shop: “humanity.” Take a look at the post:

The post was shared yesterday and has till now garnered 4.1 million views. Meanwhile, the BJP has defended the Yogi government’s latest decision. According to Akhilesh Yadav, the courts should take this subject up on their initiative. “Why is everyone getting so agitated about this?” he said.
