Nokia's Android phone 'Normandy' may come in 6 colours, reveals a new leak
The phone is believed to be a low-cost phone, and is expected to be released sometime in 2014.

New Delhi: Reports are already doing the rounds that Nokia is working on its version of an Android phone, and a new pictured, tweeted by tipster @evleaks, suggsests that the phone may come in a wide range of colours - green, red, black, green, yellow, and white. The phone is expected to be released sometime in 2014.

Codenamed 'Normandy', the handset is believed to be a low-cost phone. Speculations are rife that it will be a forked variant of Android. In other words, it will run a stripped-down version of Android OS - quite like Amazon's Kindle Fire - and will not align with Google's own version.

It looks like a Lumia-style device and is said to be supporting applications like Skype. It is still not clear whether the phone will be released before the Microsoft deal is finalised, or whether Microsoft will take over the charge for the device.

Back in September, we reported that Nokia had been experimenting with Google's Android operating system on its Nokia phones - before even Microsoft reached out to Nokia with an offer to buy its devices business.
