Members of the Telangana Coordination Committee (TCC) have threatened to go to any extent if the state government does not give permission for the Telangana March on September 30.
TCC chairman Prof A Gopala Krishna told reporters here on Tuesday that they had given a representation to chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and home minister P Sabita Indra Reddy to give permission for the march but they had not got any response so far.
“This is a movement of four crore people of Telangana whose wishes cannot be ignored. We are not afraid of anything and will take out the march,” he said, adding the government had no value for the lives of more than 1,ooo youths who sacrificed their lives for the cause.
Senior members of the TCC also appealed to President Pranab Mukherjee to ensure permission for the march.
Former chairman of AP minorities commission Mahboob Aalam Khan, TCC member B Narsing Rao and others said the government should not see the march, which would be a peaceful one, as a threat to law and order situation.
