CHENNAI: DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi has categorically stated that he has no wish to become the President of India. Commenting on a recent media report, the DMK chief said no such decision has been made by his party, nor has any of its MPs met any leaders regarding the matter.“I have said many times that I know my height. Such speculation is baseless,” Karunanidhi told reporters at the DMK headquarters on Sunday.The DMK is yet to declare its support for any candidates in the coming Presidential elections, even as its alliance, the UPA, holds its cards close to its chest. Party Opposes Sathy Tiger SanctuaryThe DMK will oppose a tiger sanctuary project in Sathyamangalam forest division as it would hit tribals in that area, the party district secretary and former minister N K K P Raja said.
