Mumbai: A four-storey building in Mumbai's Mahim neighbourhood collapsed on Monday after rain. Several people have sustained injuries.
Eight fire brigades have rushed to the spot. Several cars parked in the vicinity have been damaged and are being towed away.
"People are feared to have been trapped after a portion of a four-storey residential building on Cadell Road collapsed," an official said. Rescue operation is underway. The city has been receiving heavy rainfall since Sunday.
