MLA opens camp office to meet rural people

KARAIKAL: Karaikal South MLA AMH Nazeem opened his first camp office at Pudhuthurai village on Sunday.Nazeem initiated the camp office scheme to meet people in rural areas of his constituency. A large number of people met the MLA at the office.He told Express that since the Karaikal South constituency has many rural areas, people find it difficult to commute to Karaikal to meet him.“I have decided to meet the public in their areas. We are opening camp offices in Puduthurai, Keezhaoduthurai, Melaoduthurai, Naduoduthurai, Dharmapuram, Pachur and Thakkalur villages. I will meet the public in these camp offices on Saturdays to hear their grievances,” he said.Karaikal Municipal chairperson Prabhavathy, Karaikal South Congress party president Selvamuthukumran, Congress party treasurer Ismail, Karaikal Congress senior leader Dominic, Karaikal DMK deputy organiser Asaithambi, DMK State treasurer KTV Sankar, Karaikal North DMK secretary Rajmohan, Karaikal North DMK presidium chairman Ramachandran and others were present.
