Minor boy dies, 60 ill with dengue in Kadapa

KADAPA: Muzahid, a six-year-old boy died due to dengue fever  in Vudumvaripalle of Ramapuram mandal  on Friday.According to the information, the boy developed high fever and was admitted in Rayachoti hospital on Monday . After examining him and the doctors confirmed it a case of dengue and referred the boy to Vellore CMC hospital.  Muzahid was shifted to Vellore hospital on Wednesday and succumbed to the fever on Friday.People are in a grip of fear as about 60 cases of dengue fever were reported in a week from the village.  Vudumvaripalle , a village of 100 families, saw more than 60 persons becoming victims of dengue fever in the past one week.
