Man robbed of gold, cash

BANGALORE: A private firm employee who was returning home from work was robbed by two bikeborne miscreants in Tilakanagar police station limits on Tuesday night. The victim Anil Kumar Udkar was walking towards his residence near Jalabhavan Layout, when two persons on a bike stopped him in the pretext of asking address. The duo robbed him of 40 gram gold chain, Rs 4,000 cash and an ATM debit card and thrashed him with helmets. Also, the duo swiped the ATM card and used Rs 19,338. Tilakanagar police have registered a case and investigating it.
