Jaipur: It's a clean sweep in Rajasthan where the Bharatiya Janata Party has won all 25 Lok Sabha seats. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, who led the BJP to a landslide victory in the Assembly polls in the state in December, expressed happiness over the party's performance in the state as well as in the country.

"Narendra Modi has electrified the country. With BJP's dedicated workers and the country's support, what can go wrong," the Rajasthan CM said.

Some of the key candidates who have registered a victory in the state include BJP's Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore in Jaipur Rural, BJP's Arunlal Meena in Udaipur and Rahul Kaswan in Churu.

Some of the key Congress candidates who lost in the state include Sachin Pilot from Ajmer, Girija Vyas from Chittorgarh and Dr CP Joshi from Jaipur Rural. Expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh who fought the polls as an Independent, has also lost in Barmer against Col Sona Ram of the BJP.

Polling in the state took place in two phases on April 17 and 24 in which 63 per cent of 4.29 crore electors cast their votes.
