New Delhi: In a battle of superstars in Bollywood, it seems Amitabh Bachchan has already passed on the baton to Shah Rukh Khan, admitting that Khan was indeed, the "reigning king of Bollywood".
But the gesture was not without a thorn. "Let's see what happens to him after 35 years," PTI reported Bachchan as saying when Khan said "I am sexy, smart and young, that was his century, this is mine."
Khan recently replaced Bachchan as host of the popular television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).
"Whatever he says is correct. I am old and he is young and I agree that he is smart and sexy," Bachchan said.
While the nation continuous to compare the two superstars, whether it’s over their roles in the old and new Don, or Khan replacing Bachchan on KBC, Bachchan told a television channel that the hype about the competition between them was just a media creation.
Khan’s defence, on the other hand, was that he never imitated anyone. “I am quite good at what I do," he said.
