The three-storeyed flat that caught fire belonged to a computer hardware businessman Supratim Bose.
Kolkata: Four persons of a family were charred to death in the posh Moore Avenue area, after a three-storeyed building in which they stayed caught fire in south Kolkata. The flat belongs to a computer hardware businessman Supratim Bose. Bose, his two school going daughters and his wife were dead.
Three fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot at Moore Avenue and the blaze was brought under control.
Reports say Bose had an outstanding loan of Rs 80 lakh. What has raised some questions is the fact that there is an external injury mark on his wife's forehead.
A blood stained wooden club has also been found. Forensic experts were examining the site.
