Kerala man with fake passport held

COIMBATORE: A 30-year-old man from Kerala was arrested by Coimbatore city police, for using fake passport here on Saturday. Immigration officials at Coimbatore Airport checked the passport of a passenger who was about to board a flight to Sharjah at around 2.45 am on Saturday.Officials found K Kunjumon (47) from Malappuram in Kerala was using fake passport with Tiruchy address. The immigration officials caught him and handed him over to Peelamedu police. On complaint from Ashok Babu, SI, Immigration Department, Peelamedu police have registered a case against Kunjumon under Sec 12 (b) of Passport Act.
