BANGALORE: Former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu filed a bail application in the High Court on Friday. Earlier on October 17, the Special Lokayukta Court had dismissed his bail petition, stating that he could avail himself of treatment anywhere in India under police surveillance.Following this, Naidu applied for bail in the High Court on medical grounds. He stated that he was suffering from multiple health problems, including lymphoma, a form of cancer, and had to go to London for treatment.KPSC Ex-Chairman Seeks BailFormer chairman of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) Dr H N Krishna, who has been accused of being involved in irregularities and malpractice in the selection of gazetted probationers in 1998, 1999 and 2004, also moved the High Court for bail on Friday. He was remanded in judicial custody on October 12, when a lower court rejected his bail petition.The High Court is likely to take up the two petitions for hearing on October 24.
