Mumbai: Katrina Kaif had to finally turn down good friend Ayan Mukherjee’s untitled film. Ayan, who is close to both Ranbir Kapoor and Kat was very keen that Kat should be a part of the project along with Ranbir. She was also keen and tried her best to accommodate the dates but it was not possible, since she seems to be on a yo-yo with her two films with the Khans — Ek Tha Tiger with Salman and Yashraj’s untitled film with Shah Rukh Khan. Apparently Karan Johar, the producer of Ayan’s film, sat with good friend Aditya Chopra to somehow get some dates out but it seemed impossible. Finally, Kat had to reluctantly give up Ayan’s project.
A year on
More than a year after it was shot, Ganesh Hegde is finally releasing his ‘Mind Blowing’ track from his album Let’s Party. The track features Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu in the song. Hegde plans to release the song mid- August. “Both Bipasha and Priyanka epitomise all the qualities I’m raving about in the song. I was with them for a day and shooting was a breeze.”
