City Public Prosecutor M L Jagan filed the criminal complaint on Jayalalithaa’s behalf.In its issue dated August 1 last, the magazine carried a news item relating to the recent stay of the CM in Kodanad, Nilgiris district, the complainant said. Ramadoss, the fifth accused, in his interview to the magazine reporter, had alleged that the CM was inaccessible to bureaucrats and other government officials during her stay at Kodanad. The report was fallacious, defamatory and without basis, the complaint said, as the CM had discharged all her duties.
