HYDERABAD: TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao on Saturday said that if Telangana movement fizzles out, people of the region would have to live in eternal slavery.Speaking at a meeting organised by the Telangana Lecturers Forum here, the TRS chief said that there was no questioning of allowing the movement to become slack. "It's now or never. We should keep up the struggle till we achieve Telangana state. Our fight will not end till the goal is achieved," he asserted. Referring to the resignation of MLAs from their posts in support of the statehood demand, the TRS chief said it was the right of every member to decide whether or not he wished to continue in the post. He said the speaker had rejected the resignations of the Telangana MLAs with an intention to break the unity between Telangana leaders and thus weaken the movement. He said though every MLA has a right to quit his membership, the speaker was forcing them to continue, he said. He wondered how the Seemandhra leaders could say that they had developed Telangana. He said T region has been subject to expoloitation and it had remained underdeveloped. He lashed out at the Congress MLAs and MPs for their refusal to resign afresh.
