New Delhi: Intex has launched a compact, dual-SIM touchscreen phone- Intex Cola, in India.
The phone comes with a 2.4 inch screen with 1.3 megapixel back camera with flash, wireless FM with antenna, webcam, in built games, GPRS-WAP, mobile tracker, 3.5 mm jack for audio output, USB-PC connectivity etc. Besides, it has auto call record, social networking support, expandable memory upto 8GB, and a 1000 mAh battery.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar, general manager - mobile business of Intex, said, "INTEX COLA is an innovative addition to our touch screen mobile phones category and we have put tremendous efforts to provide all the necessary features at an extremely competitive price."
Sporting a cola combination of black and red, the dual SIM phone has a 2.4-imch touch display and comes with a good quality 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and digital zoom.
One of the interesting features in the phone is that it can easily be converted into a webcam that allows consumers to use it as a camera in the PC.
Intex Cola also acts an entertainment gadget as it allows you to do live recording of songs from FM. Interestingly, the phone comes with an antenna for better reception of FM. The wireless FM radio supports a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting external headsets. Weighing 89 gms with dimensions of 96x54x14.3 sq mm, it comes with microSD slot that can hold card upto 8 GB.
The phone also comes bundled with entertainment features that include super power audio player, video player with recording, pre-loaded games, social networking support. It boasts of a Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery that ensures talk time of up to 3.5 hours and standby time of up to 11 days.
The handset offers host of other features such as three idle screen,Bluetooth with A2dP, GPRS- WAP, USB-PC connectivity, mobile tracker, torch light, auto call record, black and white option and caller group.
Supporting both Hindi and English languages, Intex Cola is priced at Rs 2190 and is available in two attractive colours - black and white.
