IIMs have come up with a new fee structure. The fees for Indian students have been hiked from Rs 1.7 to Rs 2 lakh.
New Delhi: The IIMs have spoken. The quota season is here. The reservation for OBCs have been hiked and made compulsory in Government-aided educational institutions all over the country, but the IIMs have decided that they will go down fighting.
They have come up with a new fee structure. The fees for Indian students have been hiked from Rs 1.7 lakh to Rs 2 lakh.
The fees for foreign students too has been hiked to $15,000 from $8,000 per annum.
The fee for post-graduate programme in software enterprise management will now be Rs 2 lakh - a hike of Rs 50,000 and for foreign students, it will go up from $10,625 to $15000.
IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore have already implemented the fee hike and the other IIMs are all set to follow suit.
