KOCHI: In an attempt to monitor the safety and health aspects of the victim girl in the Paravoor sex scam, the Kerala High court on Monday directed the Ernakulam range IG to produce the victim before the court on November 8.A Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice C N Ramachandran Nair and Justice P S Gopinathan passed the order while considering a petition filed by Janathipathya Vanitha Sangatana secretary T B Mini seeking a directive to monitor the investigation of the Paravoor sex case by the court.“The minor victim is kept in isolation and there is nobody to take care of her. The parents are also involved in the case. It is essential to have a guardian for her upbringing at the expense of the state government,” the petitioner said. The petitioner further submitted that the investigation in this case is unduly prolonging. Though many persons have been booked in the case, the investigation has not been completed till date, petitioner said. The victim girl has been rehabilitated at Kakkanad Juvenile Home. The petitioner submitted that the victim was not safe at the Juvenile home and that there were constant threats from anti-socials forces.
