IAS officer takes voluntary retirement

HYDERABAD: The state government is understood to have accepted the voluntary retirement of principal secretary (endowmentrevenue) Dr KV Ramanachary. Ramanachary, a senior IAS officer, had applied for VRS 15 days ago due to personal reasons. He had two months of service left before opting for retirement. He was due to retire in February next. When Express contacted him, Ramanachary said he did not receive any formal communication from the government accepting his wish to retire in advance.
