BANGALORE: A festive atmosphere hung high in the sky as happiness could be seen among the students as well as parents as CET results were declared on Monday afternoon. Express spoke to toppers to get their reactions on being the top ten in their respective chosen streams.
Ramya R from MES PU College, Bangalore, who topped medical, dental and also ISMH rankings was filled with unexpected joy. She said she really did not expect it. She has opted for medical at Bangalore Medical College. Aditya Gaonkar P from Vijaya Composite PU College, Bangalore has scored 96.667% in CET. He has topped engineering rankings and he was also the state top ranker in IITJEE. "I really feel good. This is an unexpected result, better than expected," he said.

Srinivasan R of National Public School, Bangalore, ranked fourth in CET (Engineering) said: "It is a very happy and memorable moment," he observed. He is planning to join Indian Institute of Science's newly opened Bachelor in Science programme.

Deepak R from Sadvidya Composite PU College, Mysore, who was ranked second in CET (Engineering) results said he was excited about his results because he thought that he would be in the 7th or 8th position. As he is interested in engineering, he will pursue engineering in NIIT Karnataka (Suratkal).

Sarthak Kamath, a differentlyabled student from Sheshadripuram Pre University Composite College, Bangalore, who appeared for CET (Medical/dental) secured the 1,708th rank.
