Heavy vehicles set ablaze

ROURKELA: Maoists set ablaze several heavy transport and earth-moving vehicles on late on Thursday  night near Posoita railway station in West Singhbhum district of  Jharkhand. Chaibasa DIG Naveen Singh confirmed that three tippers, as many earth moving vehicles and a pay loader were gutted. A case has been registered at the Manoharpur police station. The incident which occurred about 30 km east of Sundargarh border is believed to be the armed Maoists style of ending the Martyrs’ Week by resorting to arson. ENS
