Ceasefire was violated at the BG sector in Mendher, the KG sector in Poonch and the Pallanwala sector in Jammu. Heavy firing took place between 4.30am to 5.30 am in the morning.
Pakistan violated ceasefire on three locations along the Line of Control (LoC) on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, several villages near the LoC have witnessed mass migration of residents. The worried villagers say that firing has been on regularly for past one month from the Pakistan side. Concerned about their safety, the villagers are moving to secure locations.
