New Delhi: Looks like Farah Khan's new film 'Happy New Year' is set to create history at the Box Office. The film, which features stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood in key roles, has earned a whopping Rs 108.86 crores in first three days of its release and become the biggest weekend opener in India so far.
The film released a day after Diwali and the extended weekend spelt good returns for it at the Box Office. In India, HNY earned Rs. 104.10 Crs in Hindi, Rs. 2.92 Crs in Telugu dub and Rs. 1.84 Crs in Tamil dub.
The film raked in Rs 45 crore on the day of its release. Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, 'Happy New Year' is the third film of SRK and Farah Khan. The two have earlier made blockbuster films like 'Main Hoon Na' and 'Om Shanti Om'.
