Gurgaon resident gets electricity bill of over Rs 75 crore, says it's more than the cost of his house

Gurgaon: A Gurgaon resident got the biggest shock of his life when he received an electricity bill of over Rs 75 crore.

Jitendra Kumar said he has made many rounds of the electricity board office but the issue has still not been resolved. He said the person who delivered the bill to his house also promised to rectify it, but nothing has been done yet.

Jitendra Kumar said his previous bills ranged from Rs 5,000 to Rs 9,000 and is baffled by the latest amount.

Jitendra Kumar said, "I have a domestic connection and this is two months's bill of Rs 75,61,00,000. My earlier bills have been betwee Rs 5,000 and Rs 9,000. I was shocked to see this bill amount. My house also doesn't cost that much."
