New Delhi: In the latest development in the Geetika Sharma suicide case, the Delhi Police have claimed that Geetika wanted to end all relations with former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda and the MDLR Airlines.
However, the police said, the former minister was determined to not let Geetika go.
The Delhi Police also feel that Geetika had become a victim of false promises coupled with threats from Kanda.
Based on the claims, the Delhi Police is slated to seek an extension of the custody of the former minister on Saturday.
This comes after Kanda reportedly told the Delhi Police that he was not in touch with Geetika for the past 45 days.
The 23-year-old former employee of the Kanda-owned MDLR Group committed suicide on August 5 alleging mental harassment at the hands of Kanda and a senior executive of MDLR, Aruna Chadha.
