BARIPADA: Five tribals belonging to Bathudi community died on the spot and three were seriously injured in a road mishap here on Tuesday.The mishap occurred on the Chennai-Kolkata National Highway no. 5 near Krushnachandrapur village, about 16 km from here. The tribals were returning to their village Souri under Kuliana police limits in an auto-rickshaw after attending a marriage ceremony at Jaunapada when a Balasore-bound mini-truck collided with the three-wheeler killing five travellers. The driver of the mini-truck is absconding.
