BHUBANESWAR: Former Khandapara legislator Satya Sundar Mishra died here on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, four sons and a daughter. Mishra was elected to the Assembly for the first time from Khandapara seat in 1974. He was re-elected in 1977. Both the times, he won as an Independent. A native of Nayagarh’s Kantilo, Mishra was a publisher too. Shree Prakashani was his brainchild. Prominent political leaders and bureaucrats paid their respects to Mishra at his Sahid Nagar residence. Last rites were conducted at Swargadwar in Puri.
