EMRI staff strike enters fourth day

BANGALORE: The strike of Arogya Kavacha 108 Ambulance Employees’ Sangha entered its fourth day on Saturday. The striking employees who are demanding better wages, regularisation of services, incentives for long working hours and job security met the management of the GVK. “GVK management said that they are ready to give a ten percent salary hike as declared by the state government, which the members are not happy with,” added Someshekar, president, Arogya Kavacha 108 Ambulance Employees’ Sangha.The Sangha is expected to decide on the issue on  Sunday.
