HUBLI: On the challenge between Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and former CM H D Kumaraswamy to take an oath before Lord Majunatha at Dharmasthala, JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda said: “God lives in the heart of every one. No one must swear before god, which is an unacceptable.” He urged leaders to introspect before taking oath before god.Addressing reporters here on Sunday, Gowda said that he believes that the soul is god. “God is omnipresent.Swearing before god will not be acceptable to people.Hence, I will not react on this matter,” he added.“I will fight BJP and Congress parties, who have elevated corruption to its peak. The JD(S) will get ready in three months to hit back at the two parties. I will travel across the entire state and not sleep for even a single day. Party workers must remain united before the JD(S)’ actual war against BJP and Congress begins,” he added. He expressed unhappiness at JD(S) working president P G R Sindhia’s lack of participation in the party activities.“He [Sindhia] is not involving himself in the fight against the government. He may have his problems, but I request him openly to be more involved in the party’s activities.”
