Even as a Delhi court sentenced the four convicts in the December 16, 2012 gangrape and murder case of a 23-year-old paramedical student to death, the proposals made by various governments, civic agencies and the police force to make women feel safe are yet to be implemented.

Here are some of the proposals that were promised after the December 16 gangrape case but are yet to be implemented.

Delhi government

Promise: Complete overhaul of the public transport system

Status: Not done

Promise: To increase the DTC buses after 11pm, request to Delhi police to provide security in night buses

Status: Not done

Promise: Request to Delhi Metro to extend service till 1 AM.

Promise: Home Ministry Taskforce formed to suggest measures to improve security of women asks DTC to install CCTV in all DTC and cluster buses by February 1
